Chicopee Comp student Ben Allard came up with a unique final project to cap off his senior year computer aided design class. Using the principles from his course, Allard designed a prosthetic hand for an 11-year old boy and printed the design using a 3D printer. Allard and Chicopee Comp teacher Thomas Grzelak join Carolee McGrath to share more about the project and how the impact the new arm will have on its recipient.
