Our veterans take an oath to serve our country and helping those who served connect with their earned benefits is a priority of every community. However, the way the state reimburses towns who pay those benefits upfront makes it difficult to budget. A new proposal on Beacon Hill would change veteran services reimbursements in Massachusetts. Carolee McGrath sat down with Steve Connor, the director of Central Hampshire Veterans Services, to learn more the proposed changes.
