Highland Lighthouse, Cape Cod
Cape Cod’s oldest lighthouse, locally known as the Highland Light, sits perched 120 feet above the ocean in Truro, MA. Moved to its present location in July 1996 due to the eroding shore line, the Cape’s tallest lighthouse is owned by the National Park Service as part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, and serves as an active aid to navigation.
