Late this summer, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’s proposed campus sexual assault rule changes were leaked to the public. The new guidelines could drastically change the way allegations of sexual violence are investigated on college campuses. Sonia Guglani, President of UMass Amherst Democrats, spoke with Carrie Saldo about how some students have responded to these potential changes, as well as how sexual assault and harassment are currently addressed on campus at UMass.
