According a recent report by Poynter, two thirds of Journalism/Mass Communication graduates are women, but women make up only one third of the media industry. The Daily Hampshire Gazette is bucking that trend, naming Brooke Hauser as the new Editor-in-Chief. Hauser, the first woman to permanently hold the post in the newspaper’s 232-year history, sat down to talk with Carrie Saldo.
