Recently, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs announced $2 million in grants to communities to study and address the potential impact of climate change. A variety of weather events linked to climate change have caused significant damage statewide in recent years.  And in Boston some people are thinking about potential ways – both practical and grand– to protect the city from the surrounding ocean waters, including building a barrier wall in the Boston Harbor.
