The Berkshire Regional Arts Integration Network (BRAIN) is a collaboration between the North Adams Public Schools, the arts management program at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and the county–wide Berkshire Compact for Education.
The initiative offers professional development and support to help Berkshire County educators integrate the arts into academic offerings. Lisa Donovan is a professor of Arts Management at MCLA and co-director of BRAIN. Donovan spoke with Carrie Saldo about how the program engages students and enriches the educational experience.
