The Berkshire Flyer, a train that would usher people from New York City to the Berkshires and vice versa, is currently under development in the region. The Berkshire Flyer Working Group’s latest report states the train could be on the rails as soon as 2019.
Eddie Sporn, a member of the Berkshire Flyer Working Group, and Massachusetts State Senator Adam Hinds, who lobbied in support of the Flyer project, join Carrie Saldo in studio to talk about the new train line.
