Originally built in 1930 as a dance hall, the Babbs Roller Rink on Lake Congamond is undergoing a renovation in the hopes of re-opening to the public. The Citizens Restoring Congamond (CRC) group agreed to utilize its non-profit status to conduct fundraising and restore the building.  Once the roller skating rink is restored, CRC plans to sublease the building to a rink operator and any profits realized from the sublease will be used for CRC’s mission of the protection and preservation of the Congamond Lakes.
