Art Works Westfield promotes the artistic diversity of Westfield and the surrounding communities. Like many cultural organizations across the nation, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced them to cancel or postpone their activities — except one: a mural project.
For the past several Saturdays, volunteer artists have painted a mural on an underpass of the Columbia Greenway bike trail in Westfield. Producer Dave Fraser stopped by and talked with board member Shannon Chiba to learn more about the public art installation entitled “Heroes are Everywhere.”
