Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary Opens New Learning Area

Mass Audubon’s Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary spans both Easthampton and Northampton. The Sanctuary is home to some of the most scenic hiking and walking trails in western Massachusetts. What they’ve been lacking over the years is more learning space.  

They seem to have found a solution by constructing an indoor/outdoor learning area near the parking lot. The timing couldn’t be better, as nearly all of Arcadia’s spring and summer programs were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Connecting Point’s Brian Sullivan brings us the story.
