Amherst Students to Learn About Local Holocaust Connection

A new project in Amherst explores a lesser known side of the Holocaust: how members of a small town in Connecticut, largely Christians, helped Jewish Holocaust survivors find community after the war.

This project will help shape a new curriculum for high schoolers in Amherst — and possibly statewide. Simon Leutz is a teacher and curriculum developer Amherst Pelham Regional High School. Leutz joined Carrie Saldo to share more.
