Amherst League of Women Voters Marks 100 Years of the 19th Amendment

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution. The amendment gave women the right to vote.

Last week, the Amherst League of Women’s Voters commemorated Massachusetts’ role in the women’s suffrage movement with a walk on the exact day the state ratified the amendment.

Connecting Point’s Ross Lippman was there and spoke to the women about how they’re continuing the fight for voter equality across the country.
