West Springfield residents vote Tuesday, September 10th in special election to determine if they favor allowing a casino on the Big E grounds. In a special edition of “The State We’re In” we’ll hear casino supporters and opponents discuss their positions on allowing Hard Rock Hotels to develop a casino in West Springfield. In separate segments, casino supporters John Weiss, a West Springfield businessman, and Tim Maland, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino New England President, and casino opponents Nathan Bech and Alan Cabot of “No Casino West Springfield” will explain their positions on a casino in West Springfield.
