Providence Ministries for the Needy, affiliated with and sponsored by the Sisters of Providence, is a non-profit that provides many services to the local needy. Their services include: Loreto House, which has housing for up to 24 homeless men; Kate’s Kitchen, which provides 1 meal a day 365 days a year; & St Jude’s Clothing Center, which provides clothing and small household furnishings to the local needy.
