Paul Bailey, Executive Director, and Martin O’Conner of Springfield Partners for Community Action will discuss the work they are doing with the Springfield Earned Income Tax Coalition to make eligible low and moderate income workers aware of this tax benefit they may not be aware of. Springfield Partners for Community Action serves about 10,000 low-income people annually; it is the federally designated Community Action Agency (CAA) for the greater Springfield area. Their mission is, “To partner up with people and the community as a whole, in a way that leads to economic stability, so that we all enjoy a better quality of life”.
