Four International journalists recently toured the region as part of the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The journalists hail from Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Haiti. Carrie Saldo spoke with them about the impression they have of the United States since President Donald Trump‘s derogatory statements about Haiti and other African countries, as well as the nuts and bolts of reporting in their home countries.
