Meanwhile, a public art exhibition on the Boston Common by Italian-German photographer Luigi Toscano has gained new significance. Toscano’s Holocaust memorial focuses on the harrowing stories of Holocaust survivors, driving home the relevance of a dark chapter in history that happened not so long ago.
