Dropping out of school can be the result of childhood trauma, a disability, or a complicated family situation. For students who do drop out of school, finding a job can be a challenge. Youth Build, a program of the YWCA, provides a second chance for high school dropouts. The program helps teenagers and young adults earn a GED and develop life skills and job skills. Carolee McGrath sat down with the Youth Build graduate Justin Mercado and Elizabeth Dineen and Jennifer Murphy from the YWCA to learn more about the program.
