Net neutrality has been making headlines, as Federal Communications Commission’s repeal of net neutrality rules goes into full effect in July. Those changes mean that internet providers can charge more for certain types of content and throttle access to specific websites as they see fit. Computer Science Professors Amir Houmansadr of UMass Amherst and Jason Alves of Springfield Technical Community College join Carrie Saldo to discuss the ins and out of net neutrality and what the rule changes will mean for internet access and privacy.
