In conjunction with the DEA’s National Rx Drug Take Back Day, federal agents and officers from the Springfield Police Department will be collecting old prescriptions at Central High School on Saturday, April 28 from 10am-2pm. The event is part of a nationwide effort to combat the opioid addiction, which often begins with abusing an old prescription lurking in a medicine cabinet.
