The Claudio family is no stranger to doctors’ visits and people telling them what isn’t possible. Their daughter, Ajalee has a medical condition called Arthrogryposis, which limits the mobility of her arms and legs and confines her to a wheelchair.
But, with endless support from her family, Ajalee has defies the odds and has done what doctors have said she could not do. Inspired by her battle against Arthrogryposis, Ajalee launched “Be You”, a campaign to remind young women about their beauty and encourage them to accomplish whatever it is they put their mind to.
