Just short of one year after Joanne Ringer of Clarksburg went missing, forensic analysis determined that remains recently found in Hatfield, MA are that of Ms. Ringer. Her late husband Charles Reidy remains the only suspect in the case. Reidy took his own life about a month into the police investigation of Ringer’s disappearance, and the circumstances that led to Ms. Ringer’s murder remain a mystery.
Berkshire Eagle reporter Bob Dunn has followed this complicated case for the past year. Dunn joined Carrie Saldo in studio to discuss how he first learned about Ringer’s disappearance, and how the case has evolved since breaking in March of 2017.
