The proposal by the MA Department of Fisheries and Wildlife to introduce Timber Rattlesnakes on an island in the Quabbin Reservoir in order to increase their population is not without controversy. Many residents of the towns surrounding the Quabbin have concerns about the proximity of the presence of the poisonous snakes, and Carolee McGrath talked with two members of the Petition to Stop the Timber Rattlesnake Quabbin Project to hear their concerns.
