From Rabbit Ears to the Digital Years: Local Radio
We continue with our series on local media tonight looking at radio. Producer Dave Fraser talked with some veterans of the local airwaves including a couple of familiar TV faces who you may have forgotten got their start on the radio dial.
Wes Moore
Wes Moore is an entrepreneur and youth advocate who first came to attention about 5 years ago when he wrote a book titled ‘The Other Wes Moore”. Moore was in town recently and Connecting Point’s Jim Madigan talked with him about his newest book.
American Graduate: CLEAR
In our continuing American Graduate series, we feature a program for children with autism. The city of Westfield launched a program called CLEAR, a few years ago in order to provide the best services possible in the district for children with autism spectrum disorder with a goal of keeping students with their peers. The program is also unique because of the partnership with Westfield State University.
