The 2012 natural gas explosion on Worthington Street in Springfield sent literal shockwaves through the city when it happened. Many of the buildings and businesses in the area are still struggling to recover. At least, until recently. On his way to work one morning, Connecting Point‘s Brian Sullivan heard the sound of power tools and other activity emanating from inside the building at 151 Chestnut Street and wondered – what’s going on? He checked out the site and learned what’s in store for the 151 Chestnut Street Reclamation project.
